Don't they know the diffrence between a lie and the truth?

I think somewhere along the line of promotion good intentions tend to be dominated by the ego and the a persons ability to think whether they are doing the right thing. The sad reality of it is what is a better alternative? I don't think that there is one - such is the way of human nature!

Because the government is composed of politicians!
It is a prerequisite for being a politician that you must be able to _respond_ to a given question without actually _answering_ that question.
Just listen to any politician being interviewed and you are certain to get at least one example of this devilish skill.

Exactly! Their truth may not be your or my truth. In fact I seriously doubt that it ever is!
It is a bit like asking the culprit at school to own up!!!

In America, Government is said to be "of the people, by the people and for the people." You and I are people.
How much truth do we live?
Love is truth in action.
The rest is ignorance trying to get what it wants.
Living with purpose, is being real, understanding ourselves without judgement, by seeing ourselves simply as we are.
This means being aware of every thought as it arises in our awareness now.
We do not have to act or react to thoughts as they arise, in order to be real, and aware.

Poloticians only want one thing, power! It would be great to think that as our employees they would look after us but they treat us as a blank checque to do want they want. As long as they have their cushy jobs they will spin us any old garbage and lets face it they are getting away with it.
