My question was not meant to offend anybody but in Australia you cant watch the news without a Muslim leader jumping up and down saying we cant do this or say that yet we get there lifestyle pushed down our throat
The popes coment about Muslim religion and violance has them saying its not true yet there is violence and a nun killed because of what was said there sort of action will only make people believe what the pope said even more

The muslims making a threat to murder any who disagree with them, in the name of 'peace' is a totally warped ideal. But, it is what they have chosen!

Besides, they got it all wrong in the first place. The Pope was giving a lecture, and merely mentioned one instance of using the sword to recruit "believers". He acknowledged that all religions have been guilty of massacres.

The entire affair is no less than is to be expected by a gigantic flock of stupid sheep. They are armed and often murder other innocent sheep... Huge showdown is coming. Hope that sanity prevails.

I am a Christian but i understand why the Muslims feel that way. On our part, if Jesus would also be quoted as someone who wanted destruction or be mentioned with terrorism we would feel the same way right? The Muslims wanted apology from the Pope because he is the one who said it. They wanted apology not from the Christian community but from a particular person. It just happens that that person is the leader of the Catholic community. The Muslims would not apologize because they do not approve also of the killings and the terrorism. The terrorist just used Religion and their beliefs as cover up so they could recruit more people to join them and do some destruction to the world. The real reason that they do some destruction is because they wanted Power and Wealth. Muslims could easily recruit their fellow Muslims to join their force is because Muslims have unity in their religion unlike us Christians. Christianity has diff sects like Catholic, Protestants, Baptist and so many more. The best thing that we can do right now is to befriend those in other religion. Whether your a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or whatever we worship the same Divine Being. He may have diff name and forms but He is still the one who created us.

So you want a apology, I see your point of view. But you must go back to 1950s to understand them. I am not saying that these attacks are right.but check your history and then ask yourself if we allies are right. The terrorism started for me Oct 1983 and we didn't do anything then and were not getting the job done . Speaking from one Americans view and the rest of the World has done nothing to help US. Remember one thing, this isn't A REGULAR war this is a fight to the death.

I'm an aussie too, and I understand what you mean by all the media reports. BUT An apology to the western world would admit fault to an entire group of people when it is actually just extremists. However it is hypocritical to condemn someone for criticising you about being violent by calling for their death. The world is full of juxtapositions, the fast those that make them realise this, the better off we will be.

Many Muslim leaders came out and condemned the major attacks in the US and Europe, you may not have been keeping up with current events then.

The Pope's statements, made in an atmosphere of increasing hatred against Islam, are very provocative -- they are a major verbal attack, significant because to Muslims, these words signal a call for a Catholic Crusade against Islam. The Pope quoted, with apparent approval, medieval thinking that Islam was a religion founded in evil. Those are provocative words. If Christianity were under attack already, and a major Muslim leader with one billion followers made such a statement, you'd be mad too.

----
When you say "PEOPLE WHO JUST CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH PLEASE DONT BOTHER TO REPLY" you're showing that you have a mind closed to facts and the truth because the truth is found in facts and new ideas. I used to laugh at statements like yours'; now I realize that people with closed minds are often filled with hatred.

Over the past week I have read many replies to similar questions as this one. Not once have I read a single response from a muslim who has actually read the full text of the speech His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI made.
If they chanced to do so, they would realise how foolish their vendetta is.
His Holiness should not have apologised, especially as the text of his speech has been pre-approved by muslim scholars.
Perhaps it is easier just to murder an innocent Christian nun in cold blood.

Muslims want an apology from the pope, you should seek apology from the person/s (who happen to be Muslims), and who attacked the western world.
The problem is generalizing the accusation and spreading a rule about all Muslims being terrorists, which is not really true.
Some Muslims are bad people, some Christians are bad people and some Jews are bad people! each person is driven by his/her own ideas and thoughts.

a terrorist does not represent the Muslims or Islamic teaching
while the pope should be the one who represent Christians

god said in the Quran

....and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, 'We are Christians': because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the
world, and they are not arrogant. (The Noble Quran, 5:82)"
am so pleased that Christians here in the Mideast declared that the popes remarks does not represent their opinion

As a fallen away Catholic I often don;t pay mush attentionusually. yet he grew to become into the only worldwide chief to hit the nail on the pinnacle . What I extremely have studied shows MoHammed as a soldier on no account placed his sword down in spreading his be conscious from ALLah. He referred to hatred for Jews and different infidels. He grew to become into no longer the prophet of love as in Jesus Hinduism or Buddism. he's the perpertator of Hatred.

Wow, I so agree with you, dont you sometimes wish there was this high as hell pedestal you could stand on and scream out such obvious questions. I dont see a change in the muslim attitude though, its the rest of us that will have to watch our mouths for the years to come.
