LML has been declared a sick company on (2nd week of Sept 2006 ) . It has been working on a revival plan for more than one and a half years. About 10 years ago, LML commanded 30% of the scooter market.
In March 2005, LML raised Rs 200 crore and it also increased its authorised share capital from Rs 60 crore to Rs 250 crore.
