Are there any pregnant ladies out there who have an artificial heart valve and are taking warfarin?

How has the pregancy been, have you had to come off warfarin and have you been closley monitored? I only ask as i have an artifical heart valve and am conerned that the risks will outweigh the benefits when the time comes for me to start a family.

One of the questions I'd ask is why you have an artifical heart? If it's genetic there's a risk that your offspringmay inherit your problem, In which case is it worth considering adoption?
