As much as people think that democracy has changed the world from the days where countries fought wars for land and resources it has not. Back in the day, tribes fought for access to rivers and hunting grounds. As long as there has been man, there has been conflict. In modern times we have maps with defined boundaries and border controls and diplomacy but that does not mean a country will still fight for the rights to local resources. What i mean here is the war in Iraq was about the oil - i think most people know this by now as the U.S has dwindling supplies and needs to go further affield to fulfil its needs.
It just takes a lot more spin and deception to cover up the war effort for its real purpose. Our govenments are so much smarter than we give them credit for. They can spin/cover-up/lie about anything so we do not know the real truth, they let us think we do but we really have no idea. I had a friend who was pretty high up in the Army in the 80's and before he died of cancer a few years ago he told me some amazing stories that make you realize you only hear about things the governments want you to hear. And how do you know what is true, what do we really know that we have really seen, heard with our senses? Not much, we are constantly decieved to believe what we are told. The media tells us everyday on the 'news' what we should know about, fed to us in bitesize chunks so us 'stupid' regular people can understand. We are being dumbed down and no one seems to realize or has the power to stop it. Out governments are so good at their job, anyone who thinks Mr Bush is 'dumb' is extremely naive.
A good film to watch about these things is Wag The Dog.
Wars will never end aslong as man is around, whether they be hot/action wars or cold/secret wars or a mixture. There is always something to fight for and peace will be just a dream. But if there was total peace throughout the world, would it be that much better? We will not know in our time but we have the power now to talk to each other in huge numbers thanks to the internet. That is something we should be be embracing. Although big brother is watching us.
Time to go, the nurse is here with my happy pills ;)

I do not think the panacea for all the ills will come out of the US withdrawing from the Middle East. No doubt, the US have been following an unscrupulous policy in world affairs. But to heap the blame on its doors, for the ills of the polity in the Middle East, is not fair. Most the Muslim population, who are otherwise not in a position, to support the acts of the terrorists who misuse the name of Islam, find it convenient to blame the US. The terrorist groups like Al Quida and other groups operating from Pakistan should be squarely condemned. They should not hero worship them, at any cost.

No, guns production is the most rewarding business enterprise interior the international, more beneficial positive than oil. As Albert Einstein stated, "as long as there are adult men, there'll be wars." I grew up precise after WWII and there change right into a peace for decades that i visit't trust surely ever surpassed off, that's surrealistic even as i imagine about it. I doubt i ought to convince anybody less than the age of thirty that it surely surpassed off. yet what did it take for those few years of peace? about fifty 5 million deaths from WWII. A steep cost for decades of happiness, so i guess we can proceed with a continous move of small wars. Then Korea, then Viet Nam, and a bunch of smaller wars spread over the international. I examine that more beneficial human beings have died because the authentic of WWII, than died in WWII, doesn't that qualify as WWIII? i guess for various hundred thousand generations warfare change into felt mandatory for survival or maybe although we've the technologies to share the international's elements, previous conduct die complicated. There are those who continually desire more beneficial than their neighbor, and it really is desirable to international locations besides as to the Jones next door. President Reagen stated we would under no circumstances have international peace until eventually all international locations confronted a worry-free enemy and he change into speaking about the whole international being less than possible no longer of this international. UFOs and alien attackers. no longer something makes pals like a worry-free enemy, they say. per chance lets fake this even if the authentic result will be worse. IE an earth made unidentified flying merchandise lands on the White domicile backyard, human beings are hectic. The President receives on television to calm the folk and states he will negotiate. After some nail biting days he publicizes the (fake) extraterrestrial beings will spare us, yet it really is what you'll all ought to do. A intense tech version of divine rule. Come to imagine of it this doesn't paintings, it did not paintings even even as pharoahs, kings and emperors had their human beings confident they could seek for suggestion from from God. formula for residing: paintings flat out, play complicated, keep your seize close and performance somewhat exciting each day of your life.

I do not know where you get your details. It is during the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq, the Kings and Queens went and requested US to recapture their country for them and it is not the other way around. Also they had plenty of Oil beneath but did not know how to bring these out to sell it for profit and they went rushing to U.S. In fact the original name of the company ARAMCO was Arabian American Oil Co.
