Dude, sorry, but i could barely understand anything on that site...
and there's a part there saying Musliims can't be friends with non-believers...
..and then it says if a Muslim invites a non-Muslim to Islam, but the other guy rejects it, the guy has to die or they fight or something...

I've got a friend who happens to be a Muslim, and she doesn't care if I'm Muslim or not!!!

I don't ever heard of koxinga ( chinese pirate guy so I can't give about information on this subject...for the second item, Muslims are those people faithfully believed and practices the teaching of Islam. Islam means a religion of Peace. Islam came from the root word arabic SALAM means peace..It is monolithic religion beieved in only one creator of universe to be worshipped, the name of that god is known to them as Allah. Allah used to call Him because nobody knows his/her gender. You can't describe Allah as what other religion calling/naming their own God. the word Allah can't be plural or singlular that's why it is very unique among the names used by religion. All muslims believed all prophets from Adam, Moses,Abraham, Jesus and Muhammed the last prophet and messenger. All muslims believed that these prophets mentioned ahead of Muhammed were muslims and their missions to earth was the same, to propagate the words of Allah as the Qur'an is the quidance to all mankinds. Qur'an never been revised sinced it was revealed to his Prophet Muhammed. The word Muslim was used to called the people who obey, practice, believe, and afraid of Allah and accepted Muhammed as the last Prophet..Unlike other religion, it was named after its founder..

i'm a muslim .. so i can only tell abt that
we as muslims believe
that there is no God but Allah n Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the messenger of Allah .. just like Adam, noah, abraham, moses n jesuse (peace be upon all of them)
note: we believe in Jesus as the prophet of God n not as son of god
n we believe in the Angels n in the Holy books (Quran, bible, torah)
we believe in the Hereafter

there r five pillars of Islam
1: to believe that there is no God but Allah n MUhammad (peace be upon him) is the messenger of Allah
2: to pray Five times a day
3: to give zakat( thats 2.5% of our savings to the poor, orphans, travellers, in the way of Allah etc)
4: to fast in the Mont h of RAMADAN
5: to do HAJ
