Since mankind hasn't invented a time machine as yet, we can't go back and change anything now can we.

It's over and in the books!
As long as there are imperfect people officiating the games, subjective and erroneous calls are always a possibility. Yes it was very unfortunate to say the least and the options, other than the apology, have all expired.

What would you suggest should be done beyond, or instead of, the apology?

I am not a fan of either team but I say it wasn't anything in teh end. Yeah it is a start but come on the standings still give you the loss and give Oregon the win. I say the NCAA owes OK an apology too though. After all no reason for Pac-10 officals to be the officals. They should have had officals from the Big East or Big 10 or something. You know UNBIASED officals.

No. The results of games have been overturned before, and I believe 1,000% that this is a game that MUST BE OVERTURNED to an Oklahoma victory! I am completely neutral since I am a BIG 10 follower, an Ohio State fanatic, and have absolutely no interest whatsoever in either team. In the interest of fairness, honesty, and the betterment of college football, this is the ONLY POSSIBLE FAIR SOLUTION to the obviously deplorable outcome of that game.

The real faults lies with the NCAA nazi's for having Pac Ten officials do the game in the first place. Sorry, thats the way the cookie crumbles. It happens every year, get over it already.

Well, unless they're planning to give the win to Oklahoma, or Oregon plans to forfeit the win they shouldn't have gotten, it's like a butterfly bandage on a gaping head wound.
