First off, don't have sex until you are ready, physically, emotionally, and financially ready to have a child. But that isn't always the case. You can use the rhythm method-you monitor the menstrual cycle and abstain from having sex for several days before and after ovulation. That is very tricky though. Then there is condoms and the diaphragm-stop sperm from entering the vagina, spermicide-best used with condoms or diaphragm, it will kill the sperm. Vasectomy, which is where they cut the vasa deferntia, so that no sperm are present in the semen, no functions are impaired and the procedure can be reversed. There are oral contraceptive pills, which are extremely effective. there is the patch, which is just as effective. There is hormonal injections or implants, for her. There are intra-uterine devices, which are fitted inside the uterus and are left there for several months. They do not prevent fertilization, they just prevent implantation, which means the sperm will get to the egg, but the egg can't plant its self into the uterus to get nutrients and grow. Then of course there is abortion and the morning after pill, but those aren't pregnancy preventions, they are extreme measures incase the above don't work effectively or there is an 'acciden't in which contracetpion isn't used.. Hope this helped.

Dont have sex, there is more pleasure in oral sex than actual intercourse. if you do not want to take the chance of getting your girlfriend/wife pregnant then this is the safest bet. make sure that you still use some kinds protection so that you do not contact a STD. But if you are still wanting to have intercourse then please by all means "dont be silly wrap your willy" or "wrap it before you tap it"
