If you had a 10inch pole and a 2inch deep hole , how would you fit all of the pole in the hole ? Without altering the hole in any way.

well that all depends on the diameter of the hole and the diameter of the pole cos you could lay the pole down sideways in a 10inch diameter hole 2 inches deep
as long as the pole is 2inches diameter or less:)

Grind the pole into metal fragments so it is basically like sawdust then pour it into the hole. Remember the question said you couldn't alter the HOLE but it didn't say anything about altering the pole!

well u didnt mention the TYPE of pole....so it could be a TELESCOPIC pole that folds in on itself (like a telescope)
