I like all your answers so far. It makes me think that in the bottom line we are all people who struggle, love, need, away from any form of hatred and racism, ofcourse home for everyone is...HOME ! no matter what...i also agree on the politicians part some referred to, politics and ethics never walked on the same line.why now ? i guess it's the same throughout the world...keep the faith everyone..

If your asking about the U.S.A. I think it needs to get back to some basics. We have swung too far to the left and now there is no balance. As far as the dream, there used to be 3 classes, lower, middle, and upper...now there is only two poor and rich.
But I always hope for the future and will never give up on the country that I love.

I am SO proud to be an American! I don't live in a dream world, but I do believe I'm living the American dream. I am free to go anywhere I want, worship any time I choose, live and work where I choose, all without any consequences.
There are some people (many of the "Hollywood types" ) who claim to hate America and all she stands for. I often wonder why they don't go live somewhere else. Instead, they choose to stay in this great country where they are free.
I'm also grateful for they many men and women in the Armed Services. A big hug and thanks to all!

I love the country. I don't like the politicians and too many americans are self-entitled ******* who need a good kick in the shorts to wake them up. It seems that we have lost our way and been given a silver spoon and expect everything for nothing. I miss my grandparents generation. Now there was some Americans that had a sense of work ethics and would roll up their sleeves and get something done.

America has it's problems...we have a government who could care less about it's people, politicians are only about themselves and getting re-elected not working together and trying to get something done, a president who is an embarrassment, and the list continues on and on. But, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. This is the country of my birth and my home.

I've never lived in a dream world but I've lived all over this one while in the Army for 24 years. I love my country and I wouldn't trade it for any other. I'm not saying I dislike other countries, I've learned alot in them and have met great people, but the States is where I will always return to. It's my home.

We are the single island of civilization and culture in an ocean of barbarism and chaos. We must be ever vigilant, for all other nations despise us and desire our destruction. The guy above me is so right! We are far too tolerant and try to hard to understand others. It's time for us to act like adults and become even more beligerant, intolerant, and fanatical.

To live in a country where you are given every opportunity to thrive with absolute freedom.......yes, the American Dream does exist. Unfortunately, our idiot President has put an 8 year moritorium on thriving, has wiped out our social security and has seemingly stifling our freedoms.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !!!
No place better in my opinion!!!
Politics have no place in my opinion.
The American dream is alive and well.... Whether you / they live this dream is up to the individual... Here, we have the choice to do anything we want, make of ourselves WHATEVER we want... We are all where we choose to be.
aaaaaaaaaaaaah life is DAMN GOOD !!!
