Don't worry...both my daughters hair did the same thing. They didn't start getting any hair till they both were after 2. Now they have more than I can handle. Ask your mom or your spouses mom if either one of you had this problem also..Probably just genetics.

My niece had the same problem, we never thought she would grow hair, and when she did, it was very thin and baby fine. Well now she is 12 years old and has the thickest hair i've seen for a child lol. Just make sure your baby is getting enough vitamins too. My niece started growing hair when she was around 3. Her Dr. said this can be normal and in time, the hair will grow.

baby's get hair at different ages. Blond hair tends to grow in slower because it is finer and less thick. Both of mine were born with a full head of hair and it all fell out! Gradually they got some back. One immediately the other was a little bald blond for ages! It is okay...it is completely normal...

Just wait! Have you seen any grown up with baby hair? (And I don't mean bald old men). Her hair will grow, as will her legs and arms! Enjoy the time she's still a baby, because she will grow up before you know it! Make the most of every phase she passes from.

When I was a baby, my hair hadn't grown until I was 1 year old.
My mom used to rub olive oil on my head. Don't know if it really worked or it just took more time for my hair to grow.
Don't worry. Now my hair is really thick.

Do not worry it will grow, she just has very fine hair, my cousins daughter was the same her hair didn't grow until she was about four. All kids are different, just always wear girly clothes on her so it's easier to tell.

it will grow....my son had very little hair when he was the same age....i actually kept on trimming it every 3 months or so and i felt like the growth promoted.....by the time he was 2 he had a healthy head of hair.
my daughter was born with a head of hair....but i started to trim it around the same age and the hair actually thickened up.....
theres no need to worry it will grow when its ready...if your game trim it and see how you go....
good luck

See a doctor you dummy, why have you waited this long to ask her pediatrician? It may be normal, who HERE can tell you, or it may be abnormal and waiting may cause her to be bald all of her life; maybe in 2030 she could play Lex Luther?
