lovely Irish accents - It seems to be a lot more laid back - although I am guessing. It is less frantic I think, but never having been there (although I will be going soon). Does everyone want to go to Ireland? It is independent, feisty and funny (a bit like me really). Any Irish people I know or have known are all of the above so maybe my perception of the place is based on that. Ireland ROCKS.

Coming from Northern Ireland myself I must say our wee country is lovely.
There is so many beautiful places to see, The people are really friendly I had a cousin over from London in July and he thought it was amazing that people you don't even know pass you in the street and say hello he said in London they would just push past you.
We also have had lots of new clubs opened and still have the traditional sing along bars. Don't knock it til you try it. By the way my cousin was supposed to be hear for a week and ended up staying for three. And he cant wait to get back.

The rugged wildness, magic, music, scenery, humour, welcome, heart, sole, natural, untouched etc etc and unknown of the place appeals to me, that is why I would love to visit Ireland. But that would not be a city and I presume that those types of holidays wouldn't be so expensive? Also I live in Scotland and am very used to rain etc. Just add a little bit of sunshine, even if it is freezing and the beauty shines out, I'm sure it's the same in Ireland? The tourists arrive expecting 'bad' weather equipped with wooly jumpers and waterproofs.
