Should it play out, as Yahoo Sports & others have reported, that USC staff condoned illegal activities concerning R. Bush. I feel it is time for another "Death Penalty"in college sports a la SMU 20ish years ago. What do you think?

Yes they should. The "Death Penalty" won't happen, since it's reserved for teams already on probation. USC isn't on probation. But USC needs to face serious consequences - we're talking 100K here, it's ridiculous.

If the NCAA does nothing it will have lost all respect - who would take it's rules on eligibility seriously from now on? The message would be if your program is good enough, you can get away with pretty much anything. A bad message to send . . .

Im in favor of the "Death Penalty" but i also wish there was a way to really crack down on the {BUSH"S} in college football. USC will and should be punished harshly but its all Bush and families fault. I think he should pay in some way too and i mean more than just taking away his Heisman. I just hate to see kids ruin a colleges reputation.

Take his Heisman trophy, strip USC of any titles while he was there, put the school on 5 years probation, fire whiney Pete Carroll and I'm still thinking of things that need to be done to USC. Reggie Bush didn't act alone.

Might be a good idea, but proably a little too drastic. A good idea because they are such a big name program. Now if they show the College KNEW what was going on I say suspended the team at least a year. Espically after what was going in with Leinhart and his teammate having that apartment with Leinhart's father basically paying for it. Just makes you wonder what more was going on right?

i think that depends on how much USC knew about the whole thing.
Yeah Reggie screwd up and if he hurts USC ill be mad but maybe they werent aware of it. a friend told me they have stric laws at USC to prevent such things

I'd agree if the problems involved multiple players. If it's just Bush, then two year's no tv/no bowl ought to straighten them up!
