Girls run as fast as you can. When you make that sentimental journey to that country to visit his family so they can "meet you; or cuz a respected family member is 'sickly' ; you will lose all rights. In Iran when you marry an Iraninan man you automatically become an Iraninan citizen and in that country Men have all authority over wife and children. If he decides he doesn't want you to re-enter the states then you will not be returning home! The U.S. Embassy will not even be able to help you even if you could sneak away there. This man wants to establish assets in the U.S. thru your citizenship stay clear from here.

Ask; her if she has heard of the "golden vow". That is something people (young especially) do to let it be known that they are waiting until marriage for sex. That is the ultimate way for a couple to express physically their love for each other. That is what marriage is about. Their love and committment to each other. Let her know you agree 100% with this "golden vow". And, that even though you care about her, you are wanting to wait. It also helps prevent the spread of std's, aids, etc. in our world.
