i have never been in a country that has interesting day time telly i turn to think is a global boredom. i am only talking about non-paymennt channels . i dont even bother turning my telly on when iam at home coz all i will be watching is boring diet supplents and fitness equipment adverts. what do u guys do? do u play your dvds or just leave the house?

Why would you watch TV during the day, or evening for that matter ?
its boring because they don't have a big market, and if you're at home home eatching daytime TV then you've already proved to the TV company that your threashold is really low and will accept anything.
There is so much to do with your life. Turn off your computer now, don't bother with Yahoo Answers anymore.

Daytime TV is supplied mainly for non-working Mothers who are at home doing the housework and preparing food for their ever loving family to come home to from work and school. It is also watched by people who are off sick from work, permanently disabled, too idle to go to work and recovering alcoholics - in general, most of the population who aren't out at work. With such a non-demanding audience, it's little wonder that programmes aren't exactly up to your expectations.
Of course, it could be said that although you say that you don't even bother to turn your TV on, you know a lot about what they show..................

Its funding. It's always about cash flow. During the day there are less people tuned in, so cheap shows make the air, adverts don't want to pay for crappy time slots, so crap adverts get in to go with the crappy TV slot times. Good shows, good adverts, all air when viewing is estimated to be at peak times. Thats why the USofA Super Bowl Ads get so much attention.

Day time TV is boring because all the not so smart people at the TV stations who put them on think they are putting on good TV, when in fact it's crap, the bigger question is why has Saturdays TV got so crap when it use to be the best day for TV.

I never watch day time tv (I record doctors for later on sky+) unless I'm ill, I will then put it on, but fall to sleep if I'm lucky so don't care what's on anyway, the more boring the better.

i do my housework then surf the net i'm not interested in tv through the day its all bargain hunt or house makeovers shows that are so rubbish they won't show at night

might i suggest getting a job? or going to school? im not being funny, i know some people are home for legit reasons, im a stay at home mom of four, so................ i listen to music, my tvs almost never on.
