I have just seen on the news here in the u.k that they are about to introduce "talking" cctv cameras.
Do we actually need these or, should the money be spent on more proactive policing methods which this country badly needs.
Is this a case of big brother flexing its muscles again on pointless street furniture or a good thing.
Do our friends in America have these and do they do any good ?

Don't you just know the chavs are going to have a right laugh with these.
"Pick up your litter"
cue bouts of laughter and 'V's being repeatedly given to cameras.
It's a bloody farce.

They have been introduced in a very successful trial, and I hope they are rolled out rapidly.
