I'm looking for a clothing store owner in "Second Life" to help me out if possible. I just need on how to get started and what kind of program to use to make a few things (clothes) sparkly ones :)

One thing you want to do is go to the forums, located at:

Look for the forum called Design & Textures:

Many of the resident GOOD artists are here answering questions, plus a bunch of people in your situation trying to learn more. Pay special attention to the following posters:

Chip Midnight
Robin Sojourner
Chosen Few
Jennifer McLuhan

I know these ones are good. There are some others who I do not recall, who are also very good. But all of them are clothes designers, are quite skilled at what they do, have their own SL store, and enjoy helping new people.
