I sort of know the answer to b).
Salt is transformed into urea by the kidneys and is then passed out of the body in the form of sweat and/or urine.

Sorry can't remember the similarities between blood and urine, finished school five years ago and really hated biology....

a. They both transport waste. the blood transports waste from the cells to the kidneys. The urine transports the waste out of the body when it is excreted.

b. Excess salt is removed from the body in sweat, tears, urine and stools.
