Some people seem to have lots of sucess on postcard competions etc, I'm not interested in phone-in ones, but if anyone who does have alot of success can steer me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated, thanks.

I think some people are just luckier than others. I seem to win a lot of competitions but then I enter A LOT of competitions. It's just luck and chance really. I stick to postcard competitions and the Internet ones. The Sun, The Mirror and GMTV are good websites. I have just recently won tickets to see the Blue Man Group this weekend. There are many ways to answer this join a participating club,research your subject,catchy phrases to do with product are a few.Had some luck some years ago but it does seem that some people are luckier than others the biggest prize I ever won was a 9` foot cherry tree! which I gave away to (at the time )our local vicar.Good Luck

Play a lot. Seriously I have an aunt who has two or three radios going at once listening for call in radio contests.
Another tip is if you work in an office have a bunch of people call in to the radio station then split the prize.

The best tip in winning prizes in competition is preparedness, you need to make thorough research as it relates to the subject area of the competition.
Also you must be brave and astute in answering your questions. This gives you an edge as you're seen as an expert in that subject matter. Regards

enter as many competitions as you can local radio and local papers are good you have a better chance of winning as well good luck keep trying
