For other types like as .pl , .asp , .php ... should install the extra feature to support them too .

Default.htm, default.asp, iisstart.asp, default.aspx are the default pages but you can change them. Start IIS Admin (Internet Services Manager), right click on your web site (i. e. Default Web Site), choose "Properties" and then choose the tab "Documents", there you can modify the list and the search order of the default documents (pages) for the web site. If you have multiple web sites in your IIS you can set the pages for each one of them.
