Start with a daily multivitamin-multimineral tablet or capsule. Also take a calcium-magnesium tablet or capsule daily, and increase it to three daily with meals at the 1st sign of discomfort. Start taking a B50 complex pill also on the 1st sign of discomfort and continue it while the pain lasts. Some people get relief with taking vitamin c and vitamin e on a daily basis
If you can find a source of herbals, Black cohosh and Dong Quai are good for menstrual pain and problems. A vegetarian diet during the painful part of the period is also helpful. Finally, 1-2 tablespoonfuls of Flaxseed or Fish Oil daily can alleviate the discomfort in some persons. Good Luck!

Yes!!!!!!!!! I have the same problem. I used to have horrible, extremely painful, ten day long periods. But I finally got it under control. First of all take Aleve (the double coated kind, if you take the non-coated kind it can cause an ulcer, right when you feel those aches starting to come on-start taking it right away. Not only is it a pain killer and fever reducer, it is a very powerful anti inflamatory agent. What you are feeling is caused from inflamation pushing against nerves and the cramps won't be as bad.
Here is the next thing. I started taking calcium supplements after my Mother was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I was totally amazed at how much it helped my periods! The duration became shorter, and the cramps were no longer debhilitating. My breasts didn't swell, and become tender anymore. The acne, and oily skin that periods bring on totally stopped. I take Caltrate. It is a little expensive, but trust me it is worth it. I once tried the generic brand and it did not work. With the Caltrate (the one in the purple bottle) you'll see an improvement in just a month.

Exactly which "relieved form" are you looking for? Many forms can be found at the Post Office - tax forms, for example. Maybe you should Google it.
