Is it possible to machine dye a gore-tex jacket?

It's a cream jacket, with the "cotton feel" fabric. I want to dye it black or brown. Thanks

if its mostly cotton , yes it will take dye...but if there is more than50% nylon or polyester or synthetic material it wont take it very well. check the tag and see what its made of. It wont be black or brown for sure, but maybe a grey or tan
