and I need a someone to set me a challange for me to learn using my computer. For example creating my own website or making my blog more interactive. Any suggestions will be gratefully recieved. I am not saying that I will rise to the challange immediately but I will get round to it eventually. Thank you one and all. Oh nothing too technical though as I have to think very hard these days to do anything.

Definitely create your own website. Don't cheat with one of those online page builders, do it from scartch using HTML.
Google for sources. Good luck and let me know the url when it's finished!

If you are the creative type then why don't you try your hand at computer art? Search google for Bryce 3D which allows you to create 3D landscapes.
Or...
Why don't you play an online game? These can be challenging, social and rewarding? Look at World of Warcraft, Second Life, or Project Entropia.
