Damn right he does! He gave us his childhood and when he finally gets a chance to experience what all kids do his country turns on him and says you can't have your childhood now either! Those people are just as bad as his father!! He was found Not Guilty in a court of law because there wasn't a shred of evidence that said that he did anything wrong! He has donated to more charities than anyone else (39)! Leave the poor man alone!!
♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥

He deserves respect just like any human being who has been doing good for the world. Sure, he has made some mistakes but to those who say "No", geez, think YOU'RE some kind of Saint yourself or something?
Michael Jackson has done far much more good for people, charities, children than any of us EVER will.
Full stop.

Michael Jackson was found to be NOT GUILTY so anyone who has a problem with him hasn't bothered to consider the facts. It was down to a scheming, money-grabbing family who not only failed to convince a jury of their honesty and integrity, but who have involved themselves with other rich people and celebrities in the past in a bizarre manner, in order to receive money and special treatment. Anyway, would a mother really be satisfied with compensation cash if her son had genuinely been sexually abused, knowing that the person who had done it was still free to get on with his life? Please!!!
The real tragedy here is that people have been too quick to forget Michael's achievements as the world's biggest male solo artist, who has transformed music and who has been loved and adored all over the world for his incredible talent and amazing songs, because they're too busy nosing into a part of his life that is not only none of their business in the first place, but which hasn't even been proven to be valid!
Throughout his life, people have hurt him, interfered in his private life and tried to bring him down in any way possible, but no one can EVER take his outstanding contribution to music away from him. He has no ego and has managed to overcome all the negative things that life has thrown at him. He deserves the utmost respect for being a true superstar.

Yes I think he deserves the biggest respect for his music over the decades, and for the input into the music industry.
BUT
By no way for what he has, or possibly hasn't done to those poor children. That is such a terrible thing for him to have done, if he did without a shadow of a doubt do it.
I think the man needs some serious help to deal with the things that are obviously plaguing him from his own childhood and I pity him for that.
And I feel very sad for him and the children involved and for all that has happened. But lets not forget all the good he has done also raising millions for different charities throughout his life.
I am very torn on this issue, but credit where credit is due, and punishment where that is due also.
Great question.

michael jackson was an international superstar at the age of five, and had religious fanatics as parents. that would screw anyone up, in my opinion. i think he's remained a child in his mind, and yeah, he is loopy. but he was found not guilty by the best justice system in thew world, and by a jury of ordinary people, not rich pricks, who had no reason to do anything other than what they thought was right. money is the sole corruptor on earth and as i see it it was a natural accusation to have been made by the greedy people who did it considering the amount of money he has and his affinity for children. why is it we view everyone who loves children, particularly males, as paedophiles? i would guess he had few actual friends as a child, so he still yearns for them, and i believe he's innocent. all that aside, m.j. has written, performed, and produced some of the best music of this century, and been an ambassador for the poor and disadvantaged of the world for the entirety of his career. hes the f***ing king of pop, and that cannot be denied.

To be Honest, I really don't know what to make of Michael Jackson. I do think that after being drug before the courts 2 x's and cleared, he should be left alone and we as a nation should move on.

Why are you asking this? Are you hoping that everybody feels the same as you? You obviously have strong positive feelings for him but I think you'll find most people don't (maybe for his music but not for him) so why put yourself through most of these answers? He's a very damaged man who's been allowed too many 'let offs' because of the devotion of his fans who can see no wrong in a grown man in his forties thinking he's Pete Pan, sleeping with kids, dangling a baby off a balcony, covering his kids heads in public etc. etc. etc.
He needs help not blind devotion..

he has an official verdict that said he was innocent, if he was not then its the mistake of the justice system, but he has to be seen as innocent. de did go through a lot, so we should let him in peace.
he does deserve respect for the musical carreer he had, he was and is a talented guy and hell of a dancer...
