I did not like my life up until a couple of months ago. I just recently got out of a nasty 28 yr. Marriage. I lived with a major control freak, who would not allow me to do anything. In June of this year he beat me up and it was bad. I split up with him and I am in the process of getting a divorce. The end of July or the first part of August i met a new man. He is the greatest man I have ever know. He loves me very much even when I am a major screw up. He works with me and loves me very much. He even holds my hand or puts his arms around me while we are watching television. I did not have any intimacy in my last relationship for a long time. We had not even slept in the same bed for a long time. Now everything is so different for the better. I have someone who loves me very much. Who holds me and loves me all the time. I am now happier than I have been in a very long time. I hope everyone out there can find their soulmate like I have.

Great question! Make them think about those blessings!
Yes!
I have several personal "motto's" that I will share with you.
Live each day with out regrets=. Make each choice that will be acceptable to you in the future and for the highest good to all concerns in the present. Don't do regrettable actions, they will come back to haunt you.
The Golden rule " Do unto others in a much better way then they would do unto you.
To thine own heart be true! Never assume you know another ones pain or happiness unless you have lived that moment, be mindful that pain and pleasure are only temporary and give praise freely.

Satisfaction is a very dull ideal. I don't live to be satisfied. I live to be agitated, because I need to be provoked into action. I am satisfied with nothing, but continue to strive for everything. I hope this answers your question, but if you're not satisfied with my answer, that's a good thing too.
There is no good, there is no bad. There is only is.

Definitely loving every moment of it! I could look at my situation as though life has dealt me a cruel blow....I'm broke, my job is demanding and my boyfriend's poor.
But I can choose to look at life more positively: I'm broke but I'm happy. My job is demanding but rewarding. My boyfriend is poor but he loves me.
There's nothing I wish to change about my life. It's always a half cup full of blessings rather than a half cup empty.

Yes and no.
I am much happier that I quit the government job.
No, because I do not want to be living alone because I didn't look for a partner.

I'm not very happy with the life I am living. Dissatisfied with more than I am satisfied with.
