what home improvement projects will Tony Stewart do now since the ones he tried didn't get him into the chase?
Do you think he should go to Lowe's for home improvement advice, and Jimmie Johnson for racing advice?

Uhmm hello. He ran into some bad luck and got knocked out of the chase by a very few points. He's ran in the top 10 almost all year, and has had pretty good races when his car hasn't been knocked into pieces by another driver. Unfortunately, the new points system is more about luck than sheer talent..so I think it's time to honestly look at facts before you criticize. Come on..think about it.. All of the chase drivers were two things. 1.) shocked as hell that tony didn't make it.. but 2.) glad as hell they didn't have to compete against him anymore. Why?? b/c they know he can drive the wheels off of anything. So again.. facts before we run at the mouth.

Championships: Tony 2..Jimmie oh yeah none and now he's 9th in points..
Wins: Tony 26 Jimmie 22
Top Tens: Tony 164 Jimmie 104
Poles: Tony 10... Jimmie 9

Tony 1999 Rookie of the Year.. Jimmie.. ooops not so much..

Do you want to discuss outside of Nascar..oh okay.. Tony.. 1997 IRL Champion , 1996 IRL Rookie of the Year..1995 USAC Triple Crown Champion.. (first and so far only..)
We could go on and on and on..these are the huge ones. There are little wins and championships that Jimmie couldn't think about having..

So honestly...now let's ask what Jimmie will do??? Perhaps change his name to Jimmy (yeah.. frightening that so many fans can't even spell his name right..) and do something besided ride on an awesome team?? That's half of his sucess right there. Sure, he's a pretty good driver, but there is no way he could even begin to drive as well as Tony..esp if he didn't haev a great team..

Tony Stewart won more championships as an 8 year old go-kart racer than Jimmie Johnson will ever win in his "4 wheel" racing career. Maybe Johnson should consult Smoke about how to stay competitive 36 races a year instead of 33. I'd be willing to bet that if Jimmie wasn't "just riding" at Bristol, California, and Richmond the last three weeks, he'd have a little bit of momentum during the Chase.

As far as going to Lowe's for home improvement advice, what could they help you with? How come all their ads are about new refrigerators and washers? If you consider buying a new dryer to be home improvement, I guess Lowe's is your place. If you need tools, lumber, and building supplies, head down to Home Depot.

Tony Stewart going to Jimmie Johnson for advice, that would be like Joe Gibbs going to a pee wee league football coach for advice get in the real world please.Stewart already has two count em two cup titles how many does Johnson have ? Oh that's right he doesn't have any a big fat ZERO Johnson always manages to choke come money time just like he did Sunday.Yeah Tony missed the chase this year so what a blown engine here,a crash there it happens.Johnson will never have the racing talent that Stewart has if he races till he's in his sixties.

Critical of a past champion that did not make the chase. This is not the first time, remember that Jeff Gordon did not make it last year and did you give him this sort of abuse?I don't think so as you are making a point to mention the driver of the team Gordon is part owner in!
One bad season does not end a drivers career,I think Stewart did have a top 5 this past week end while Johnson was making "home improvements" on his car.

I am not a Tony Stewart fan but I hardly think that he is washed up when it comes to driving. It is not like he missed the chase by hundreds of points; plus he still has the chance for the million dollar bonus if he places 11th at the end of the season.
I really don't think TS needs advice from JJ on driving....considering how they placed last week maybe JJ needs to ask TS for the advice. After all TS does have 2 championships and JJ has NONE. Like I said, I am not at TS fan but the guy can drive.

One season of not making the Chase and you have this guy as being done. The competition is so close that it was only a matter of a few points that kept him from being in the Chase. Hardly a reason to put Tony down.

Let's see.......... how many championships does Stewart have and how many does Johnson have. 2 to none. It seems to me that Johnson should be the one asking for advice. Especially after his miserable outing this weekend.

Very funny, team 48. I think you better watch what you say, because Jimmie is now 9th in standings. Talk about a flop!
