Sprinkle Baking Soda liberally over the affected area, leave overnight and hoover off. It's a natural deordoriser and wont stain your upholstery. You'll may have to repeat this a couple of times.

Sliced lemon over the area will also help to absorb the smell. Leave this on during the day if you can and use the baking soda at night. This worked for a friend who also spilt milk in her car.

Try using soap and water or a carpet spot remover to make sure there is no stain and you've got most of the residue up. Then I would suggest opening all the windows to let it dry all the way and then spray with Febreeze everyday until the odor is gone. If that doesn't work I would then go take it to the car wash and have it professionally shampooed. Good luck!

Three remedies!
1) A product called 'Resolve' comes in a squeeze trigger spray bottle in the carpet cleaner isle of the US Safeway supermarkets.
2) A product called 'Ozium' comes in a aerosal can & is rarely 'found' anywhere but I got mine at a car wash in Honolulu.*
3) A slightly 'thick' solution of sodium bi-carbonate (baking soda), liquid detergent, water & 'elbow grease' to scrub with a saturation of the area. Vaccum & allow to dry. Repeat if necessary.
(Don't forget to take necessary action to thouroughly access every place the milk has seepted into, creveses & floorboard.)
Happy motoring! ;-}

Just had a similar problem with a sofa. Try cleaning it with biological washing powder, the enzymes attack the smelly bits in the milk.
