I can't move into my new apartment until Oct 15, but school has already started for 2 weeks by this time, so I don't wanna waste too much time on moving stuff. You know quizzes and exams are beginning in that week. Therefore, I decide to place furnitures into a Public Storage which is near my new home. Is it a good idea? And I wanna know how to buy insurance for my stuff. thx!

This is a good idea, make sure you put a decent lock on your bin. You can get renters insurance through your local insurance agent. When I use to rent I had some through State Farm (and it is really affordable)...check it out. You may want to start with the agency you have your car insurance through...

I have used Public Storage before and I had no problems. You should be able to get insurance for your stuff either through your rental insurance policy or ask at the office of Public Storage, sometimes they have a connection with a way for their customers to insure their property. I think they could be very helpful.

You can buy the insurance directly from Public Storage.

i'd say do away with it..... have a storage sale, positioned up some issues on craigslist............ greater effective than probable, you're in no way going to interrupt them out lower back........... use the money which you get from merchandising it to purchase new issues quite of procuring storage to maintain the previous issues.
