I have just found in the loft a box of my childhood toys including two Sindy's along with a little red sindy wardrobe complete with a brown dress with yellow flowers, a paisley skirt, purple jumpsuit with massive flares and lace cuffs and a floppy hat, you can guess it was in the seventies when i first had these but were you a sindy or barbie girl and which decade did you play with them in.

I was definitely a 'Sindy' girl! I even named my pet dog after her when I was a child! I loved to dress them up and cut their hair!
This was in the 70's!

I always preferred black haired Sindy and any Sindy before Barbie. Had the Sindy house, horse all that stuff.
Must have been late 70's early 80's. Did Sindy have a boyfriend like Barbie does, i cant remember?

Definitely a Sindy girl. They seemed to be more popular in the 70's when I was young enough to like dolls. Barbie seems to be all the rage now. You rarely see Sindy dolls in the shops now.

Well the one I pretended I loved the most was an ultra-haired barbie, because it was an expensive gift from my mother (or so I thought :-) ) however my real favourite was a sindy from 60s/70s I had got at some car boot sale because I got to 'style' her hair because she wasn't new... i use the term style very losely. Also she was a bit tubbier and more realistic than the barbie.. I liked that!

Sindy grow to be made via fact human beings theory Barbies have been too unrealistic and too perfect finding and a few infants did not prefer attractive dolls (curiously) I constantly favorite barbies via fact they have been greater chic, yet I undergo in concepts having a Sindy dolls domicile. It grow to be extensive and grow to be like an house block. It grow to be wonderful!!

I was a Sindy girl - I wasn't allowed Barbie because she wasn't 'real'. Did you know that if Barbie existed she wouldn't be able to stand up becuase her breasts are completely out of proportion with the rest of her.
I had loads of clothes which Mum made for Sindy out of the remnants for my own clothes - so we matched!!
It was in the 80s.

Sindy, before she had plastic surgery to look like skinny barbie. My favourite was the ballerina and a friend of mine had the big sindy house which I was dead jealous of.

Barbie. I had three Barbies and a Ken and I still have them all. I did give one of my barbies a very bad haircut.
Never really got into Sindy.
