for anyone to fall in love or have a very strong like for sumone they meet on the internet? i mean seriously not just for jokes...even when you only know their first name, age and they live 1000 miles away?

I think maybe it depends on how much you have talked or interacted with this person. It could very well be your emotions longing for something that isn't there so be careful.

Love can happen in any situation, including the internet.
It all depends on how long you have been talking to that person, if you both have been honest with each other.
Try not to get too carried away though. Take it slow and if possible, don't just limit your communication to chatting.

Sure,that's possible....you can have very strong feelings for someone you meet on the net.I think its because its very easy to share anything you want with anyone...therefore you become intimate much sooner than you would IRL.There's nothing wrong with that,as long as you keep in mind that the internet is one giant illusion.People can be whoever they want to be,say whatever they want to say..even the one you got those strong feelings for!

no you are falling for a picture that you have made in your head of this person. be careful people can write wonderful things but truth can sometimes be very different. if you are going to meet this person make sure someone knows where you are going and do it in a public place. be very wary i am not saying this person is not genuine but please be careful
