You've got to love who you are, girl, but if you don't wanna be a dork, you can step it up, people can change.
Honestly, though, there are so many @ssholes in the world today, that dorks make a refreshing change.

Being a dork is a big responsibility. You have to uphold the code of the dorkyness! Trust me its hard to keep people laughing. But not if you are a true dork.

If by dork you mean your are an outcast and do not know how to interact with people socially that it is a problem.
But, If you are able to have friends and be happy with your life, but have quirky hobbies and interests and style that separate your from the herd (which some ignorant, uncreative people might react negatively towards), absolutely not. Being happy with yourself is all that matters and you certainly can't please everybody.
