I think is you drink alone then thats when you consider yourself addicted. Same goes for drugs. As long as you are doing it with someone, you will be able to stop doing it too..

I never drink alone. I prefer to have company and an intelligent conversation with someone who makes sense. One drink is my limit. I do like red wine with my meal occasionnally

sometimes I like to start alone but then chat it up with others at the bar ....few times a year I like to drink by myself but I go somewhere like a park and just drink and think...but If I ever walk in a bar i expect to talk to someone

Yes....when I am alone, I do prefer to be by myself. Drinking or not!

Normally I drink when I'm out with friends. Yet every now and then I really enjoy a fine glass of wine while reading my book by the fireplace.
