I am getting 2 sleeves done, but was just wondering if the tattoos would stretch, or would they look distorted, if my arms got rounder?

I'm getting traditional sleeves done, would this be as bad?

my husband has close to full sleeves on both his arms... his weight has fluctuated up and down 50lbs in the years I have known him....including muscles being built up and I have never noticed any difference... I have 12 assorted tattoos on my arms and with weight going up and down they have not changed... the only way I could see it make a huge difference if you started as a 150 lb guy and then went all body builder muscle man.... what I would do is ask my artist to be sure .

Hell yeah. I've several, but the one on my belly has stretched to immense proportions (I am 37 weeks pregnant though). It'll skrink back down (has before) but went a little patchy like the colour had faded. I shouldn't think your arms will get quite as round as my belly though. At the moment my tattoo looks fine, just hyooge, and it's been a great way of measuring my bump's progress!

They can, but as the above caller says not always, Pregnancy is the worst offender for women who have a tat on thier belly. But generally places like Arms, legs Chest will not stretch but may become distorted

Yes they do, lets say your a gal and you had a baby and you put on tons of weight, it would not go back. So the best bet is getting a new one over it and to make sure you never let it happen again.

Yes. They do. When you get muscles, they don't look bad or anything... but I saw this chick with a tiger all across her belly- pretty cool - and then she had a baby. ewe. not a good idea.

Have some birds tattooed on your arms when you get bingo-wings
they can fly !

but i got a tattoo on my belly...had a kid .. an my looks tha same..
so im sure it will be the same for you. because i was little like 92 lbs when i got pregnant now im 116 .. so yah.. it shoudlnt

Yes, a friend of mine had one on her chest, above the breast slightly. When she had a baby and her breasts became bigger and she added a few pounds the previous spotted leopard became a giraffe.

yes they can, REAL BAD-- i have one on my arm-- looks real bad and beyord repair- im only 22- lost/gained wieght several times----
