i am pursuing B Com 2nd year through correspondense.
but in 12th class i had PCM stream
i want to become company secretary
is it my right decision
i have not much knowledge of commerce but i am ready for the prepration of cs and now these days i am doing intensive study for cs.

1. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
www.icai.org
2. Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI)
www.icfai.org
3. The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India

considering the job market, CAs/CFA/ICWA have better opportunities as still CS requirement is very less.
it is a good course but then u will need a law degree or some finance degree with it to get a good placement.
alone CS degree is not enough to get a good job.
so pls think again n decide

Certainly you are able to become CS because now u r doing B.Com and you might have analytical bent of mind because of your science background. I will suggest you that when you are ready to study hard, why don't you join ICWA which has much better career opportunities since there are limited vacancies for Company Secretaries. ICWA is by and large like a CA. You can easily get a job in private as well as govt sector.

Being a commerce graduates help as you may get certain exemptions for CS. But it is tough and would need a lot of hard work. As you are still studying you can combine this with your regular study. Good luck.

Of course, if that is what you want to do.
There is no right or wrong answer to your decision. If that is the profession that you arte interested in, then it is a right decision.
Apply a couple of places, even for part time position, and see how you would like it.

Company Secretary not fallen from teh sky, if you work hard and your will power should be strong then why you can't become a Company Secretary, Sure you can become.
