If they are coming to your home and have the nerve to complain about your personal habits, you are entitled to shoot them down like dogs on the steps to your home.

How long to wait? H*ll, smoke in front of them. Don't buy into the guilt trip crapola, dude--there is NO firm evidence that cigs even cause cancer for the first inhaler. All of that is Bill Clinton sh*t that his gang fostered on America.

Light up and live free, dude.

I think the secondary smoke is always dispersing which is obvious. I would say that if you are asking about your rights as a smoker then you are allowed to smoke at home out of the presence of non-smokers. If they enter the room after you have smoked & they dont like the secondary smoke in the room, that becomes a domestic dispute since you never smoked in their presence. They will need to prove that the space is theirs and that will prohibit you from smoking on the premises.

If you genuinely care about their health, I would say after smoking your cigarette, open a window & fan the room out. Depending on the size of the room & ventilation, I would say 1 minute is more than appropriate.

Smoking inside a house makes the furniture, carpets & curtains stink of smoke & I wouldn't do it anyway.

what ever! That stuff never
clears' it sticks to clothing walls everything in the room. You think people can't smell it becaue your an addict and can't smell or taste crap because your senses have been dulled.

People may be polite and not say anything but it REEKS and just the smell of it lingering on fabrics is enough to make people sick with sore throats.

sitting in a smokers car or home can be pure torture and you go home with that crap stuck to your clothign an hair skin everything.

If you normally smoke in your home it will take a lot more than hours with air and fans running to clear the air. You will need serious equipment to really get rid of it. Like a Ecoquest air purifier set on sanatize for 8 hours.

The greenhouse gases that are in the air are released 150 years ago and take another 150 years to leave the atmosphere before warming up the oceans and icecaps and sink the world in storms. That is for the lecture.
Secondly, regarding secondhand smoke, I would say it is the same time it takes for the ashtray to get clean all by itself, and give no smell, even when not washed. That is for those sensitive people. But who cares unless the guests are very important.

Second hand smoke has never been proven as a threat to non-smokers. The EPA has no significant data to say second hand smoke is bad. I hate this news because I am a non-smoker. I hate second hand smoke, but there is no hard data to say it will kill you. So I say, smoke on! Maybe give your hand a wave in the middle of the room, open a window, spray some lysol, you are all good.

I am a non smoker and can smell smoke hours after someone smoked...for the norm it all depends on humidity, air ciculation and any other factors like absobing it into fabrics etc..if you want to get rid of smoke smell..turn on fan and also brew a pot of coffee, or bake something...YES it will mask the smell and your mum and dad will never notice the smoke smell..

depends on how much you've been smokeing, i'd say about 1 hour with the windows open, 30 minutes with a fan pointing out the window

hope this helps :)
also, if you get the chance, please leave Comments or sign my Guestmap, Thanx :)
