When I want to send a letter with graphics I use MS Outlook Express which will send the email as an HTML document. If the end-user has set up their yahoo email to receive HTML format they will see the document as I composed it. Any other HTML I've tried requires a url link to the pics uploaded somewhere on the web.

The only other alternative I can think of is .PDF files. Maybe the next generation of yahoo email will fix this.

First see if you are using Ymail, or YMail Beta.

1) If you are using YMail Beta, then first try to copy and paste an image directly in the compose window. If it does not work the go to http://photomail.mail.yahoo.com/
And download and install software from that page.

2) If you are using Yahoo Mail, and if you can see a button called "Insert photo" at the right corner of compose window. click on it , and it will download some activex on your computer, you have to click on the yellow bar below the toolbar, to allow it. Once it installs it, you will be able to insert photos directly in mail.

3) If you are using YMail, and do not see a rich text edit bar above your compose window

click on options(at the top right corner) in your mail window.
Click on General preferences in the next window that appears. Look for Composing emails. select Mode Compose messages as color and graphics .
Click on save button (at the bottom left)
click on compose button in the next window that appears. Now you will see the tool bar for rich edit above compose box.And also the insert photo button.

in the journey that your digital mail application does it, look interior the INSERT menu, then %. photograph. If it purely shows connect, then you definately can no longer do it that way. yet differently is to have your digital mail OPEN, then use PASTE to place your message with photograph in it. If the photograph looks, you're in success. i exploit this methodology while sending out from Yahoo digital mail.
