scroll your mouse wheel while keeping the CTRL button pressed. You can increase or decrease your font size, it works for all the web browsers.

In Firefox under preference you can set a minimum font size to display.
If you right click on your desktop under appearance you can change font size for menus, message boxes, etc.
Another alternative is to change you from 96 dpi to 120.

Right click the mouse and select properties -settings. You can see the resolution / pixel bar. You move that bar to the left size to reduce the resolution and then close it. Now your resolution will be less but you can see that the font size has increased.

If you are using firefox go to menu View ->Text Size-> and click Increase Short cut key is Ctrl++
If you are using IE go to Menu View->Text Size and select which size you want.
