I have not bought jewelry. Hard call to make on that. You can check a sellers feed back, but, I not sure how dependable that really is. I not want to steer you wrong. Most other things I bought were what they said they would be. I have looked at some of the loose gems and have been tempted to buy something. IF, you do buy something pay close attention to size and get a tape measure so you get a real idea of how big it really is. The pictures can sometimes be deceiving.

You know I have participated in a seminar at Chandigarh of Ebay. This is a platform for anybody to buy and sell. Yes you have to pay first to buy. And the products are bound to be genuine.
For your information, Ebay is working in 33 countries across the world for the benefit of customers. And any purchase made is also insured upto Rs.50,000/- which you can always claim from the EBAY community and their working is very fare. Go through the literature.

It just depends on who you're buying from. There is really no "true" way to tell on ebay. The best thing to do is to check the sellers stats, and history. If they have a huge history of selling in the past, and people leave lots of great feed back, then you're good!

Always ask for info on the produce and do a little research online before buying. Chances are they are real but, ask the seller alot of questions to insure they arnt trying pull a fast one. Also ask for anything that might be engraved on the ring and do an image search on Google to check it out, Good Luck. dont forget insurance.

I bought an acoustic guitar once. It was good. And I've bought other stuff as well, but so far, the guitar was the most expensive one I've bought to date.
You should look at the references/comments that the seller gets; if he's "new," then you should be a bit more careful. Also, find out a little bit more about your product.

dont ever go for ebay, its my personal experience, most of the items are old or are defective, the quality is not to good and what about the warranty (if applicable), i have wasted my lot of money on ebay. so i suggest you to buy from an local delear by watching the product yourself by you eyes.

I dunno bout anyone else but I had the worst experience with Ebay and would never ever shop there again. I paid 175 for some Manolo blahnik's and when I got them they were fake even though they said they had the original box and shoe bag plus receipt for them. I got no bag no box and fake shoes with the label glued on the shoe. needless to say I was a lil mad. Good luck
