Why do people regugitate such idotic trash about liberals such as "liberals hate god" or "liberals want the terrorists to win" or whatnot. NOBODY WANTS TERRORISTS TO WIN YOU IDIOTS. That stuff is so ridiculous and it comes from people who only want to make money, yet the great idiotic masses in the US hear it and venerate it like it's straight form the mouth of Jesus (who they only give lip-service to anyway). Why can't people think for themselves in America? Why does this pass for political debate in America? Why are my countrymen sometimes SO DUMB?

You have a right to be upset. I'm a liberal and ever since I was five I believed in God and still do. My parents were not christians or catholics. That doesn't mean that I don't have a mind of my own. I believe that God is all about love and acceptance.

People often look to a christian leader, President or the pope for answers but they forget that Jesus was the only perfect one. I don't think any of us has all the answers, but I do know that God gave us a brain to think logically. Sometimes people choose not to use their brains but to follow the masses. Christians or anyone for that matter would do better to follow your gut feeling and pray for guidance from above. Don't be like sheep following one man unless you KNOW his record and what he stands for. Otherwise you are going to look pretty foolish when history shows he was a moron.

Pres Bush is spewing garbage about terrorists trying to frighten americans into believing that they will be at our doors any minute. Terrified americans will let laws get passed to take away our freedoms. Terrified americans are easily controlled. I know it's hard, but try not to believe the propoganda out there people. I believed it for a long time too, but I woke up in the last five years and the truth was none too pretty. I'd rather know the truth than to have my head stuck in the sand. Research Bush's record on what laws have been passed since his presidency. Don't take my word for it. Don't take your parents word. Think for yourself people!

I think that a lot of people generalize certain groups and assume that everyone in the group has the same views on the same things. If I told you that I am a republican, you would have preconceived notions of who I am and what I believe in. If you got to know me, however, you would see that I have only recently become a republican and that I have my owns views concerning the issues of the day. I think that it is just a hazard with associating with a certain group. Don't take it personally.

It's just a technique used by the Republican party in order to get political support from people. And as we can see it's a pretty effective one. It doesn't matter if it's all a bunch of BS, they don't have a problem with that as long as it scares people and makes them vote Republican.

The christian right wingers are pushing this BS. Just becuz I believe in fair pay and a middle class does not mean I think it is a good idea to use abortion as a means of birth control. If chistians did as the scripture says they would use Mat. 18 on bush and ex-communicate him

It's a simple twisted delusion really.

Liberal: I won't let you impose your religious beliefs on everyone else. You can believe what you want, but you cannot force that on other people who don't choose to believe the same thing.

NeoCon: You must hate God!!!

Liberal: No, I just think everyone can choose their own religion.

NeoCon: You must hate God!!!

Rinse. Lather. Repeat as necessary until bored of the debate.
