Saying we shouldn't have gone in is not a solution.

If I understand liberals correctly, the only viable solution would be to return Saddam to power. The liberals have declared Saddam to be the only leader capable of "controlling" Iraq.

It's interesting how they have such high regard for Saddam. Afterall removing him was a "disaster for the region".

I ponder hopelessly, wondering how people are so very ignorant in the realm of history.. is it actually not taught anymore? The crusades occurred many centuries ago but, the Arabic nations have never forgotten it.. They have taught from that time until now, to hate the crusaders and all of their descendants. It is still the mainstay of the madrases all over the Muslim world.

The removal of Saddam would have made no difference in the feeling of Muslims nor their attitude toward the civilized world.

For the past 25 years they have been attacking various parts of the world, particularly in the area of Indonesia (20 years) warring to obtain an Islamic state. Their intent is not to stop there. They are commanded to rule the world and make Islam the worlds religion..this commandment coming from Allah through the prophet Muhammad.

No matter what the liberals did, it would not change the direction of the Islamic world, as Islamists see it.

We have very little to gain, The war keep going on and on and as long as Bush and his cronies continue to wage war on Muslim nations there will continue to be an insurgency. Muslims see us as trying to force our way of life on them and the more Muslims we fight the more enemy's we make in the Muslim world. Bush had an opportunity after 9/11 to become one of the best presidents we have ever had and he blew it. We should have thrown all of our resources into invading Afghanistan and getting Osama, that's were the real enemy was.
