Al-Qaeda in Iraq and its allies said Muslims would be victorious and addressed the pope as "the worshipper of the cross," saying "you and the West are doomed as you can see from the defeat in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya and elsewhere.... We will break up the cross, spill the liquor and impose the 'jizya' tax, then the only thing acceptable is a conversion (to Islam) or (being killed by) the sword."

They are such rogues, we do not have words to describe them. It is now reported that they had their hand in the hijack of Indian Airlines plane during 1999.

They always believe in spreading their religion, which is stated to be meaning PEACE through the means of violence. The western world is not known for accepting such threats lying low. If these forces want to carry forward their evil designs further, even assuming that at some point of time, the US and its allies withdrew from the Middle East, and the kind of attack that had carried out in the US and UK, then I am afraid there will be an all out war against all these nations backing Al Qaeda.

All religious fundamentalist groups disregard the will of the majority to achieve their ends. Don't expect Al-Qaeda and such Islamist militants to accept any kind of apology from the Pope. In fact they are constantly seeking out new enemies, new battles - France is a "crusader-nation" now, Al-Qaeda Sudan now open for business. Those who live by the sword will be evaporated with the MOAB - 9,800-kg satellite-guided bomb - it's the only language they understand.

those idiots haven't read the Koran quite right. The Koran clearly states that any "students of the scripture" (Jews and Christians) can come to no physical harm. They can only be requested to convert, if they do not one could only mock them and make them pay the jizya.

Until a radical change comes in their mind-set of these people. But these people are really dangerous and should be handled diplomatically. It is not a question of who would be victorious-but there should be peace over the world. Even the West is at fault in Iraqand elsewhere. So, let's hope better sense prevails!

All those propagating Islam today are ignorant religious fanatics who know very little about their own religion. What worse can happen to a religion? When those running it don't even know their Holly Quran well enough?

Al_Qaeda are NOT true Muslims.. the are "extreamists" they do not follow Islam as the true muslims do. ...

For an example.. the christian faith has its own group of extreamists some even blow up abortion clinics and shoot abortion doctors.. but we can't very well use them to describe the christian faith because that is NOT and acurate example of what christians stand for.. correct? In the same way you can not view muslims through the actions of a group of extreamist that Only CALL themselves Muslims

All I would like to see from such a peaceful, god loving religion is the leaders condemning terrorism.
Without that, Islam extremists will prevail.
