I am naming my girl Cheryl Ann Maxine

Cheryl is my sister's name. I felt so bad for here when I found out I was pregnant. It wasn't what I wanted at this point in my life and I had already had 4. She is 5 years younger than me (I am 41) and she can't seem to have children. So I promised her that if it was a girl I would name her after her. Maxine is my grandmothers name and I had always wanted to name my daugther Maxine ever since I was a teen. Ann is just to blend the two names together well.

This is my first daughter, 4 boys ahead of her.

I like the name Maddox. Don't think I've ever heard it before.

Good Luck

africa, jaycee, khanisha, neecee, safron, starla, tanisha, saphire, these are just a few names. i have the perfect name for a little girl but if i was to share it, and have a girl of my own one day, it would no longer be unique or unusual. you can also make names up, sometimes "la" added at the front of a name is nice and it makes the name unique. makesure when you pick a name, go through all possible nicknames and also write down the initials, you don't want your child to be picked on because of their names. [ i did'nt think about it the first time, my sons initals are T.A.P]. i mean, you would'nt want to name your child "Soniqua Latoya Angharad Gordon" would you...? also check out the meaning of the name[ i named my son after a sports car, and hes living up to his name] good luck in finding the perfect name for a girl

Somebody just called me booblabrain for suggesting Donya. But I think it's kind of nice. My all time favorite name for a girl is Katharine, diminutized to Kate or Katy.
