A best friend is someone who knows all my faults and still loves me. I never have to hide anything from a best friend, because he/she accepts me as I am. A best friend is someone with whom I share values and interests. A best friend is someone I can trust implicitly and who trusts me as well.

I think the word friend is one of the most abused words in the dictionary. Many people have acquaintances, but very few have people they can call true friends. A friend is someone who you could call at 3 am and lives in Georgia and you tell him you are broke down in Michigan and need him or her to come get you and he or she does it. I have many drinking buddies and half-*** acquaintances, but only one "friend" as defined by my terminology.
