I need a copy of my High School Dipolma from 1974. How do I go about getting it?

I need an orginal copy of my High School Dipolma for a job interview. I graduated from High School in 1974 from Biscoe High School at Biscoe, North Carolina.

I couldn't find any record of Biscoe High School in Biscoe, NC that's still in existence (although there were listings on classmates.com) Try contacting Montgomery County Schools at:

I am surprised that you would need a copy of your diploma unless they don't believe you for some reason,but I would call your high school and see how long they would keep that information , they most likely could send you a transcript but technology was not that great back then

I don't think most high schools have copies of diplomas. The best they can probably do is give you a transcript or a letter indicating your graduation.

Locate your high schools district office and ask them for a copy of your high school transcript. Every district should have your transcript on file. You can also call the high school to see if you can get it through them or if you in fact have to go through the district office. Every H.S. is different.

Call the school and ask if they can help you. If they can't give you a fancy copy, they can at least give proof you graduated to whoever needs it (employer, college, whatever.)

You should be able to contact the school. I'm sure they keep those records. At least they should be able to tell you where you can get it if they don't have it.
