An addiction is defined as anything that creates trouble in your life and you still do it anyway.

If this was a one time thing then it's all good, but if this problem persists then you might evaluate your priorities and get rid of the video game.

Or maybe, just limit your time on it and try not to play right before bedtime, I know when I'm working on a project before bed and it is unfinished I have trouble thinking. If you put something in between the game and bedtime maybe this will help.

I do that on a regular basis. i'm supposely tired a 3am but suddenly i get an urge to play madden06 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. It's a bad thing healthwise but in a way it's quite entertaining.

No I have never had that trouble but I can't seem to go to bed until I run out of questions to answer. Is there a support group for that?

not just you ~I stayed awake one night playing tetris ~ I couldn't lose, and I didn't want to lose on purpose ~ Next thing I remember was the sun shining through the window blinds.
