Once again France is taking steps to protect it's big banker (Iran). I think Jimmy Carter must be sending them contaminated peanuts and messing up their judgement. I know money is hard to live without but somewere you would think they would have some ethics. The world needs to shut them out of things. The people are ok but the politicians are so corrupt it reflects on the people.

In fact the french president Jacques Chirac is a very good diplomat, and he hates war (like french people!). So they just try to find a way with dialog and speech before sending bombs and soldiers.
He thinks that he can get by negotiation the same result that Bush can get by army...

the problem is not only with France,all European countries are in this together.they have million dollar worth contracts with Iran and i assume that again Iran has bribed Europeans to back them up so they can buy some time again.two and a half years of talking and everything is back where it was.

I believe Chirac said something along the lines of
"I don't believe that sanctions have ever really worked, but I'm not going to rule them out entirely"
I fail to see what is so appalling about trying to avoid war.

let tell you "IRAQ WITH WEAKER SADDAM WAS BETTER THEN IRAQ WITHOUT SADDAM". I think french have heard this saying of my teacher. Iran's corrupt govt is better for westerns
