i find that hurting me is my classmates's favourite pastime...they are selfish to the extent that they think of all possible ways of not being helpful...they derive sadistic pleasure by being mere spectators...i do everything to help them(unconditionally)..
.they are ingrates....never remember that i helped them and they need to be good to me as well....talking to me is an effort for them...everybody is mean....i try to be friends with them...always help them but they don't reciprocate or include me in their activities...they are like"why should we help her?"

Stop trying to win their approval. It makes them respect you less. Everyone wants to be liked and accepted, so I can relate to that. Find interests to get invovled in. Move on. Learn to respect yourself and communicate to others that they are okay, but you can take it or leave it if they don't return the sentiment

you give them the go ahead to hurt you, why does it matter to you so much? If your helping them and it's from the heart and not out of getting something in return then you can not be hurt, you may just simply be a better person or the chemistry is not working with you and them. Initiate an activity that you would like them too do with you and see if they or some of them will participate, if not, try again and again, keep up the niceness it will only wear them down and make you a better person, niceness is free it doesn't cost a thing!

Why do you give them so much credit or influence? I have found that you have to demand respect to get it! If you don't people will walk over you like an ant hill! I have always been freinds with many people but the same goes for friends! Let them figure out what's going on themselves! Don't help'em! Let them come to you, take some control! Best luck...

Why are you trying to be nice to these people? You can't make them like you, or keep them from behaving badly.

Just ignore them, and stop doing things for them. The more you push them for a friendship, the worse they will treat you. Leave them alone and find better (maybe less popular) people to be friends with.
