I've (unfortuantely) seen a couple of programmes documenting the lives of really obese folk. I'm talking 30 stoners. They literally stay in the same position for years because they are too fat to be moved. They can't even dress. I would say that could be deemed the laziest existence in the world. Not to mention the most wasted.

RE:
Who is the laziest person in the world?
I'm trying to challenge for the title and I was wondering who I should aspire to be like.

I think I'm the laziest person in the world - I can't even stay in classes all day, I have to come home and sleep!

If you 'aspire' to be anything, you cannot be the laziest person in the world!

Let's try looking at this systematically...
1) People who join organized religions are intellectually and spiritually lazy (not to mention cowardly) as they would rather have someone "hand them" the truths of their lives yet will not do it themselves. Following these tomes without question is usually part of the package.
2) Nobles tend to be EXTREMELY lazy as they usually don't have to do anything in their entire lifetimes unless they feel like it. They simply get whatever they want handed to them. Since the US doesn't have nobility outright they have entertainers and politicians to fill the gap and do nothing so that the people will worship them and watch their every move with moronic anticipation. They use other people to live off them parasitically.
So if these two points above have any validity as variables for laziness we need to look for someone with lots of money and has done little with it but self-gratification. Plus add a constant plugging of their religious beliefs in order to make themselves seem "authentic" to real humans around them...
That said, I have to go with: Tom Delay, Rush Limbaugh or the pope.
I'm torn between the pope or Limbaugh (although Rush has got the whole drug addict thing goin' on). We never get to hear what the latest pope's "drug of choice" is. They both obviously like to hear themselves talk ad infinitem though.
Ok, I guess I pick Limbaugh. What a living turd. LOL
