I can't believe people still think the month they were born in has anything to do with their personality. Dude, for your own good, stop it. Not to sound mean, but get a mind in that head of yours. If you think you're compatible, go for it. Get to know each other, and gain an actual understanding for each other's personality. Don't make assumptions based on when you were each born. That is prejudice, plain and simple. There is no way in hell ANY one trait can apply to every person of the same astrological sign on the planet. It's nonsense.

I'm an aquarius and according to Linda Goodman's "Love Signs" I should run as fast as I can from any Scorpio - but I Married one and am the happiest I've been in my life. The Stars can't possibly tell the whole story - if you were wrong about the exact moment of your birth or her birth, for example, the whole thing could change... so take it with a grain of salt and follow your heart, it's closer than the stars.
