Being a good guy has it's limits. Russia keeps putting the screws to us while we give them billions of dollars. They have more reserves than we do Their external debt ws 169 bil and ours was1.4 trillion so why give them979 mil. Blackmailing us so they do not sell their nukes is bull. We should tell them go pound sand and if they give up any nukes we will use ours. Period. They had 124 billion in reserves and we only had 85.9. Time we wised up. What do you think??

The problem is people in congress and the senate are under the misunderstanding that foreign aid is needed and they do not have to worry about the national debt just print more money. The world is not as dumb as they think and we will suffer sooner than they expect. The interest on the debt is beginning to hurt and now is the time to stop the unnecessary foreign aid. Let Iran and Venezulia waste their money. Time to think about the welfare of americans instead of the Russians.

They may have the reserves but the country is so corrupt,inefficient,out-dated and lacking in infrastructure (all weather roads etc) the have gained little economic wealth and general progress for the majority of the people. The incidence of AIDS, drug addiction, homelessness, orphan children and so on is alarming. They need some help...and it has to be said,just giving them a heap of money may actually be cheaper than having a large part of the US nuclear arsenal constantly targeting them.....that costs money too you know !!!
